In Memory of David W.
January 18, 1938-August 11, 2009

God saw he was getting tired
And a cure was not to be.
So He put His arms around him an
Whispered "come with Me".
With a tearful eye we watched him suffer
And saw him fade away.
Although we couldn't bear to loose him
We could not bid him to stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
Hard working hands laid to rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
He only takes the best.

Dad I love you, and one day we will meet again!

Happy Fathers Day Dad!

In 2004 the doctors only gave him a few months to live. God had other plans and Dad is still with us today. I am truly Blessed to have a wonderful Dad that would do just about anything for anyone.

One childhood memory I will cherish forever is when we used to sit in the front stoop of the old house during a thunderstorm. The rain would fall and the world was fresh..... everytime the thunder would utter it's loudest sound, Dad would say "The Angels must have got a strike."
