"Are you grateful for right now?"
Not as much as I should be. Lately I have been taking things for granted. I have a lovely home and a wonderful family to share it with. With the ecomomic times the way they are either me or my husband could loose our job and it would be stripped away in a moments time. So I stop and look around to realize how truly grateful I am. Now this comes to the June 1st blog prompt.
“Listening, not imitation, may be the sincerest form of flattery.” ~Dr. Joyce Brothers. How well do you listen? Are you intent or preoccupied?
Lately I have been preoccupied and I haven't been listening. Just caught up in my own little world.
Mother Teresa once said that "Before you speak, it is necessary for you to listen, for God speaks in the silence of the heart. It's been awhile since I have REALLY listened.
Peace out,
Sonya

I am grateful for all of the blessings in my life. I think we all sometimes take things for granted. I forget sometimes to take time and slow down see what I have not what I don't have and be grateful for what I do have.
I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers! I hope things settle down in your life so you aren't so preoccupied and worried.
I'm with Pat. I really hope that you can soon settle down and look around. Great answer though. Loved your photos in the last post.
